Since starting my own landscape company in 2000, my work has afforded me the opportunity to work with many of Melbourne’s well known and talented landscape designers/architects.
Working with Andrew Laidlaw on residential landscape projects and the Children’s Garden at the Royal Botanic Gardens, introduced me to Global Gardens of Peace in 2014. The Khan Younis garden immediately captured my interest and something I know is an extremely symbolic and powerful project.
As a Father of two young children I am more than conscious of the impact of green space and outdoor play on children’s development and wellbeing.
I have joined the board to lend my skills and experience relating to construction, planning, costing and project management and to help build a network of contacts. My wish is that through my role with Global Gardens I can help to provide the benefits of natural outdoor green space to those children in the world who need it most.
